This Telescoping purple martin pole is made of 18 gauge galvanized steel tubing fully extends to 12 ft. (the recommended height to attract purple martins to your housing) Base section is 1.9” diameter. Two safety bolts to lock system are included.
Zinc plated thumb screws to hold pole at desired height.
Pre-drilled holes to receive mansion base plate and thumb.
Assembly required.
NO Purple Martin pole is "Bend Proof". All Purple Martin housing should be lowered in cases of impending severe weather to prevent wind damage.But do not touch pole when there is active lightning in area.
