A repeating nest-box trap is an easy and humane way to trap English House Sparrows and European Starlings and is designed to automatically reset itself after each capture. Only moments after one invasive bird is caught the trap is ready to catch the next that enters it. By mimicking a Purple Martin house, the S&S Controller is irresistible to cavity nesting birds with its multiple fake holes. By placing this trap either next to buildings or trees, it will not attract purple martins.
Once trapped the bird slides down a PVC pipe and is humanely deposited into a wire holding cage completely unharmed. The S & S Controller mechanism is the "teeter-totter" or see-saw mechanism ONLY, that lays at the heart of the S&S controller repeating nest box trap. The trap itself is NOT included.
It is also available as a prebuilt kit for those who would prefer not to build this from scratch.
