Purple Martin Predator guards and protection

Nothing is worse than losing your Purple Martins or even your colony to air and ground predators. Fortunately there are things you can do to protect your Purple Martins from the very real threat of racoons, snakes, owls and non-native birds (sparrows and starlings) that seek to prey on your Purple Martins. Take action before anything happens!
By using purple martin pole guards, (predator guards) and owl guards you can increase the success of your purple martin colony. Use starling traps and sparrow traps to decrease nest site competition from these non native pests.
