Stoll's Purple Martin Book. This book is the success story of America's largest purple martin colony. It describes what every purple martin landlord needs to know. It explains how to attract, manage and take care of a purple martin colony. The book is written by Victor Stoll who has had a purple martin colony for most of his 77 years. He even had a gray-breasted martin colony when he lived in Belize. Mr. Stoll was born is southern Indiana and was raised Amish. He currently resides in Finger, Tennessee. At his current colony he has had over 12,000 nesting pairs in 33 years. The most purple martins he had in any one year was 729 nesting pairs. This book is all color with a 114 color photos and has 144 pages. Size is 8.5 by 5.5.
