We highly recommend enlarging compartments made easy by the modified design. Closing alternating compartment doors to make 12 larger compartments. This will increase the amounts of eggs laid by your purple martins and decrease predation from Owls and other predators.
Also consider changing the doors on this house by purchasing 2- 6 packs of crescent entry and 2- 6 packs of blank doors to close alternating entry. OR use blank doors to cut your own SREH. Just look under "Housing Accessories"
