We do not recommend their actual use due to the inability to perform nest checks. Though they advertise that they can be cleaned out, they are designed to be opened empty. In other words, when no birds, eggs or nestlings are present. Opening the house while birds are inside would seriously disrupt the nesting process, break eggs and possibly injure baby birds.
