This antique metal spoon measures in at just over 5 inches in length. It is slightly over 1 inch at its widest point.
Both the "bowl" of the spoon and the "handle" have enameled color art insets. The art work on the bowl of the spoon depicts a pair of barn swallows on a wire. Behind them is a swallow flying in the distance and a power line with many swallows perched on it.
There is no writing or marks on the back of the spoon.
The stem and shoulders of the spoon are adorned with fine detailing. There is some tarnishing which leads me to believe that this piece may be either silver or silver plated.
One of a kind and very collectible.
